Registered Physiotherapist

Denish is a Registered Physiotherapist with Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, India in 2010. He has also obtained his Diploma degree (honours) in Fitness & Health Promotion from Humber College, Toronto in 2012. Since 2010, Denish has advanced his knowledge with ongoing coursework in ART, Orthotics, TMJ Pain Management, Acupuncture, Manual Therapy, and Geriatric Health. Before migrating to Canada in 2010, Denish has worked in acute care hospitals and rehabilitation centres in India. He has experience in working variety of clinical settings in Canada including Out- patient units, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Cardiac, Orthopedic and Neuro rehab units past 5 years.

Denish is currently working in one of the busiest clinic in Brampton as he is having special interest to work in Outpatient Department. In clinical practice, he believes in providing manual therapy and muscle retraining to restore joint biomechanics and to correct movement dysfunction. He is having wide experienced with post-operative protocols and rehabilitation programs. Denish has worked with various athletes to achieve their goal with special interest in sports physiotherapy.

Denish has also had the opportunity to volunteer in the hospital setting, which has allowed him to supervise numerous post-surgical patients. Denish has also worked in Long Term Care setting and having experience with geriatric population.

Apart from clinical side, Denish has an extensive experience towards teaching of more than 800+ internationally educated Physiotherapist across the world. He has also awarded by Humber College for his participation as an examiner in OTA/PTA OSCEs. Denish is a clinical educator and preceptor for the Atmiya PCE Prep and provides mentorship to students looking to work as resident physiotherapists.
